Order Form and Ordering Information
Your trees were doing well until the moose swam over on an ice floe and stripped them...
-Randy Lieb, Swift Current, Nfld.
I'm trained in forestry and have also worked in nurseries and I've found your trees to be superior to any I've seen at 2 to 3 times the price.
-Danny Gilbert, Digby, N.S.
...a great catalogue: informative, interesting and appropriate info!
-Ron Kelly, Supervisor, University of Guelph Arboreteum
Reusable, X-Heavy, 1m high TREE GUARDS are also available. ($2 ea)

Climate Zone
Beside each plant listing you will find the coldest zone in which it normally survives (i.e. Z2 or Z5a). Only experimental plantings should be undertaken in zones colder than those listed. For more information we have a zone map of Canada.
Size
Beside the zone number is a measurement (e.g. Z4/10m) giving the eventual size in metres of the mature plant. These are averages and can vary up to 20% either way depending on soil and climate. Beside most items, we list the dimension in centimetres of the trees you'll receive.
XL Stock
Most of out stock is available in sizes easily shipped by mail, that is, under 1m.
‡ This symbol indicates plants that are also available in sizes over 1m. The price is the same but you'll have to come and pick them up.
This year some items are available only in sizes over 1m and these are marked For Pick Up Only
Our Spring pick-up dates are April 21/22, and April 28/29, 2012 between 8am and 4pm. Please see Specials or this map to Marlbank for directions.
Please check our planting instructions before you order.
No phone orders please.
- Being a small company, we do not charge HST.
- The minimum of $60 applies only to mail orders.
de la POST
Parcel Post works well: bundles of our trees find their way on time and with equal accuracy to Badger, Nfld. & Horsefly, B.C., real places that courier services won't serve or can't find. The Canadian Postal Service is a creation of generations of our people. Its network knits together our tenuous ribbon of a country... and woe, implacable woe on those who dare to unknot it, either from within or without.
Thank you for the shipment of trees and shrubs I had received this spring. I was amazed at the caliper and quality of the plants and your packing methods were one of the best I had ever seen. I have been ordering plants worldwide for the last 20 years, and even the overseas shipments were not packaged as well as yours. There was such little shock to the plants in transit that once planted, some have even set their buds
-Shawn Graham
Golden Bough's delivery system has been considerably modernized over the years.
Tammy & the gals in the packing barn take a lot of care with your dormant, bare-root trees which will come to you stoutly packed in re-cycled grain bags, standing in damp shredded paper and tied to a re-usable bamboo pole.
Next stop is Tamworth, where Kate, our genial post-mistress, weighs and measures our packages which can safely reach any address in Canada, usually in less than a week.
Canada Post handles trees up to 1.6m. Our pick-up customers often receive larger plants at no extra cost since less packing is required.
Here we see pre-ordered pre-paid trees & shrubs readied for a pick-up weekend. Most of them will be planted in prepared sites on the same day.
